Location & Getting There

Situated in the heart of Central London, the Hilton London Metropole is minutes from Oxford Street and Hyde Park.

Arriving from London Euston, Kings Cross or any other Central location just hop on the underground to Edgeware Road Station which is across the road from the hotels entrance.

Family Plus Superior Room

During my stay, we stayed in the Family Plus Superior Room. Both myself and three other friends stayed for the weekend so we booked the family superior room to make sure we all stayed in comfort. The room was an amazing and spacious size. The room consisted of two king size beds, a large flat screen TV as well as a Desk and lounge chair.

The bathroom in our room was also very spacious and had towels, as well as some small bottles of shampoo, conditioner and shower gel.

Whilst our bathroom was spacious, it seemed a little dull. This could have simply been because the light wasn’t very bright in the bathroom and made it seem this way, but overall the bathroom was enough. The sink area was large enough to house all the toiletries and makeup of 4 women (which was a good thing!!) and the bathroom was stocked with enough towels for all of us, as well as extra showering essentials.

Pool, Gym and Sauna

The hotel does house a large pool, sauna and a gym. Unfortunately due to going to London to celebrate a 21st we did not use the gym or the pool, but we did go and have a nosey at them!

Both the pool area and the gym were very clean and spacious. The pool area also had chairs around the pool to relax in, as well as a hoist for those who may need a little help getting in and out of the pool. The Pool and Gym are situated on the 2nd floor of the east wing of the hotel.

Dining Options

The Hilton London Metropole offers a continental breakfast for those who include it in their stay. The hotel also has 5 restaurants and bars in total, including their 23rd Floor Asian Fusion Restaurant with breathtaking views over Central London.

Summary

Overall, our stay at the Hilton London Metropole was amazing and everything we wanted! Our stay was for a 21st birthday celebration and just somewhere to use as a base close to central London whilst we went out and explored London and celebrated. The hotel room was spacious enough for 4 adults, extremely comfy and was across the road from a tube station (edge-ware road) which meant we could get anywhere in London very easily. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly at both check in and when we had to ask for a late check out very last minute because one of us was not well. The rooms are fairly priced for the attention to detail of the hotels communal areas, as well as the spacious rooms and the number of additional facilities the hotel offers. I cannot wait to stay at the Hilton Metropole again next time I’m in London!
