Located less than a mile from Hyde Park and 10 minutes from Oxford Road, the Hilton London Metropole is a great hotel for a trip to the big smoke. I spent 2 nights here and this is my review.

Location & Getting There
Situated in the heart of Central London, the Hilton London Metropole is minutes from Oxford Street and Hyde Park. Arriving from any Central location just hop on the underground to Edgeware Road Station. The hotel is just across the road from the hotel.

Family Plus Superior Room
During my stay, we stayed in the Family Plus Superior Room. The room was a good spacious size for 4 adults. The room consisted of two king size beds which allowed the perfect nights sleep for us all.
The bathroom in our room was spacious but we did struggle for room with there being 4 girls in one bathroom. But, that’s just us! Whilst our bathroom was spacious, it seemed a little dull. This could have simply been because the light wasn’t very bright in the bathroom and made it seem this way, but overall the bathroom was enough. The sink area was large enough to house all the toiletries and makeup of 4 women (which was a good thing!!) and the bathroom was stocked with enough towels for all of us, as well as extra showering essentials.

facilities
The hotel does house a large pool, sauna and a gym. Unfortunately due to going to London to celebrate a 21st we did not use the gym or the pool, but we did go and have a nosey at them!
Both the pool area and the gym were very clean and spacious. The pool area also had chairs around the pool to relax in, as well as a hoist for those who may need a little help getting in and out of the pool. The Pool and Gym are situated on the 2nd floor of the east wing of the hotel.

The Hilton London Metropole offers a continental breakfast for those who include it in their stay. The hotel also has 5 restaurants and bars in total, including their 23rd Floor Asian Fusion Restaurant with breathtaking views over Central London.
overall
Overall, our stay at the Hilton London Metropole was lovely and just what we wanted! It was a great base for central London, especially being right next to a tube station.
The hotel room was spacious enough for 4 adults, extremely comfy and the staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The rooms are fairly priced for the attention to detail of the hotels communal areas, as well as the spacious rooms and the number of additional facilities the hotel offers. I’d definitely stay here again and it is the perfect hotel for groups. I often find it quite hard to find hotel rooms in London for more than 2 people without someone having to be on a pull out bed so the room with 2 kingsize beds was amazing and made such a difference to our trip!
