Location
Situated right next too St Pancras Station, it couldn’t be easier to get to and from the hotel. Covent Garden, Westminster and Soho are only 10 minutes away. As well as St Pancras Station, Kings Cross is also next door to the hotel, making the transport options endless.
Rooms
During my stay, I stayed in a Superior Twin Room in the Barlow wing. The room size was generous for a London dwelling and spacious enough for 3 adults. The bathroom was roomy too, with lots of countertop space (always important). We didn’t run out of space so that was a huge win!
The room also had quite a large desk space and a comfy chair too. Perfect for when I had to do a few hours of work one morning. The rooms we’re perfect for a stay where you’re mixing business with pleasure!
Dining
As I walked into the St Pancras Renaissance, the grandeur of the hotel hit me. The reception is within the hotels bar, The Hansom and the elegance of the building is just incredible. The hansom is also the perfect way to start your day as they serve breakfast here or you can end your day here with one of their signature cocktails. After a morning in the spa, we nestled down in the Hansom for a signature bloody mary before heading out into central London for the day. The quirky interior and furniture of the Hansom matches with the incredible architecture of the hotel itself.
The hotel also has it’s signature restaurant Booking Office 1869. We didn’t get chance to dine here but we did have a sneaky look in the restaurant and as with the rest of the hotel, it looked stunning. It has a very grand yet gatsby feel too it. The restaurant also has a late licence and is home to resident dj’s for the perfect mix of dinner and late evening drinks with a little more going on.
Lastly, there is the Roof Garden which we didn’t get too see unfortunately. Although, the terrace was open for guests to enjoy. It has a very botanical feel too it and is quite a small terrace making it a lovely intimate bar away from the hustle and bustle of the city.

Leisure
With so much to do in London, you often need somewhere to relax after a busy day exploring the city. Another reason why I loved the St Pancras Renaissance so much is because of its incredible spa. We actually had a spa morning before going out to explore the city. It woke us up whilst making us feel refreshed and ready for a day of exploring. The spa consists of an indoor pool and jacuzzi as well as different heat rooms including a sauna. You can also have treatments at the spa ranging from couples massages to body scrubs and wraps.
If your the type to work out whilst enjoying a weekend away then you are also in luck. The hotel has a 24 hour fitness center to be used by all guests. The equipment is extensive so there is something for everyone.
Both of these amenities have locker rooms so that you can safely leave your belongings close by should you need them. Alternatively, it allows you to get changed after using either of the amenities before heading back upstairs into the main hotel.
